Injury  Prevention

Safety from unintentional injury is another aspect of school safety. These safety concerns include playgrounds, school buses, laboratories, field trips, bicycle safety, pedestrian safety, allergic reactions, poisons, emergencies and other hazards. This section of this framework addresses educational programs to teach students to be careful or prepared. Other non-instructional strategies are presented in another part of the framework.
