Actions to Alleviate
the
Impact of Poverty
Poverty can be a contributor to poor health
and antisocial behaviour among students by causing motivational problems and jealousies

to alleviate these impacts of poverty within the school setting. These school actions can
include head start programs, school meal programs and enhanced family and children's
services.
